‘Daily Show’ Host Trevor Noah’s Swanky Manhattan Penthouse Available for $13M

If you’re changing jobs, it sometimes makes sense to move as well.

That seems to be the thinking of Trevor Noah, who’s scheduled to leave his gig hosting Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” next month. He’s also just listed his Manhattan duplex penthouse in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood for $12,950,000, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The comedian purchased the swanky spot for a little over $10 million in 2017.

As befits a worldly bachelor, the posh pad sports 15-foot ceilings, three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a floating staircase, a private terrace with a plunge pool, and a screening room.

Designed by famed New York architect Ralph Walker, the art deco building was constructed in 1927 and originally called the New York Telephone Building. The building was converted into luxury condos in 2014. Noah’s apartment is a penthouse on the 17th and 18th floors and measures about 3,600 square feet.

Custom oak flooring, elegant archways between rooms, and floor-to-ceiling windows complete the stylish gut renovation that the Emmy winner undertook. He also converted one of the bedrooms into a screening room.

With seating for 12 in the dining room and 1,000 square feet of terrace space, this gorgeous home is ideal for entertaining. The outdoor living area features built-in speakers, a wet bar, room for a large table, and a picturesque pergola.

The 38-year-old sold his Los Angeles mansion earlier this year for $26.4 million. It was a loss from the $27.5 million he paid in 2020.

Noah has hosted his popular comedy show for seven years. He’s also the author of the bestselling memoir “Born a Crime,” about his childhood in South Africa during apartheid.
